Tools - pinion flange holding tool

Using the tool to hold the pinion flange to undo/tighten the nut is made extremely easy when working on the bench with the axle off the car. With the axle still fitted in the car, you can get a solid purchase on the nut with the tool resting against the transmission tunnel.
I made this with 12 inches of 1 1/4” x 1/4” flat steel.
